The Heartlanding Information Technology Services Center (HITSC) is a Northeast Iowa based, not-for-profit Information Technology services and consulting firm, connected to the Upper Iowa University e-Center. Heartlanding is primarily student-operated, providing valuable IT services to rural Northeast Iowa while promoting experiential learning for Upper Iowa University Students.

• Expand and elevate the use of e-commerce and information technology in Northeast Iowa and the region.
• Offer an alternative to off-shoring in Northeast Iowa, leveraging Iowa’s value, and lower student labor costs.
• Heartlanding will provide students and graduates project based information technology employment - helping students to gain work experience and become more valuable to prospective employers.
