Heartlanding ITSC offers, for
example, web development and other
information technology services at prices competitive with
off-shoring by leveraging Northeastern Iowa’s lower cost of living
and a highly trained student/graduate labor force under the guidance
of faculty.
Objectives
- Expand and elevate the use of e-commerce and information technology in Northeast Iowa and the region.
- Offer an alternative to off-shoring in Northeastern Iowa, leveraging Iowa’s value, and lower student labor costs.
- Provide students and graduates project based information technology employment - helping students to gain work experience and become more valuable to prospective employers.
